Temple Bar Cultural Trust Presents The Summer Sensational

Sensational events that will glisten with summer sun and promise culture in every sense are in store this July as part of Temple Bar Cultural Trust Summer Sensational running from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th July, 2010. Visitors to Dublin’s world famous cultural quarter are being invited to experience the sights and sounds of summer at this unique and unmissable festival, which includes workshops, sensory events, outdoor movies and a special performance by Irish musician Julie Feeney!

With summer magic for all ages, The Summer Sensational is brought to you by Temple Bar Cultural Trust in partnership with 14 Cultural Organisations throughout Temple Bar. The festival will feature special workshops for children including Feast for the Senses, in association with The Ark, A Cultural Centre for Children. These special drop-in, hour long visual arts workshops with artists Jane Groves will take children on an sensory adventure where they can explore the five senses taste, touch, sight, sound and smell in five workshops over five sensory filled days!

Carlsberg Comedy Carnival

Carlsberg Comedy Carnival, named Best New Festival at the 2008 Irish Festival Awards takes place in the picturesque Iveagh Gardens over four days from the 22nd – 25th July 2010.

This year’s Carlsberg Comedy Carnival features an incredible line-up of world-class international and home grown Irish comedians. And that’s not all. A fantastic array of performance artists and musicians will keep comedy lovers entertained between shows and comedy goers can enjoy a delicious selection of gourmet food, chilled beer and drinks.

Fáilte Ireland Dublin Horse Show 2010

The Horse Show is a Dublin institution. A celebration of Ireland's affinity with the horse, from the best show horses to the best international show jumpers. It is one of Ireland's largest events, a highlight of the summer, each year welcoming tens of thousands of people Ireland and all over the world.

From August, 4th to the 8th, 2010 the Fáilte Ireland Dublin Horse Show will take over the entire RDS complex in the heart of Dublin.
